Product Description
Our Product consists of 4 different parts:
A wall mount
This wall mount can be drilled into the wall to securely attach our pump to the wall.
A pump
This will be the water reservoir and pump pressure for all pots that are connected. It provides the “brains”: electricity and water pressure necessary for our plant pots to function.
A Pot
These pots are a modular system, you can thus have one or more pots connected to each other while only using one pump module. The pot has valves that will trigger automatically to water the plants. In addition, the pot can also receive a lamp that will promote the growth of the herbs.
A Seed Pod
This is a pod made of plastic containing soil and seeds. With it’s removable top seal it is easy to open and then place into the pot.

GENERAL
Avoid unnecessary components to limit the number of components by eliminating the non-essential ones.
Choose materials that can withstand environmental influences.
Do not use coated, painted or plated components to reduce the maintenance actions to keep them in good condition.
Design for the use of standard tools.
Lid of the pot: M5 Provide sufficient space around the maintenance points.
Pot in two parts: M4 Ensure that the operators of installations are also able to maintain them.
Water and power connectors: R9 Use components and materials with verified reliability to minimise the chance of unexpected system behaviour. Connecting point of water supply: M12 Position components that often need to be maintained at an easily accessible place. Wires and tubes: M11 Design the weakest link to ease the replacement.
The connector between pots: M2 Use standard, universal applicable components. Pot connections: R10 Design robust interfaces between components because their interaction has a strong influence on the reliability of the system.
Wall mount: R6 Overdesign critical components larger than minimal required.
Water container: M1 Use materials that do not prolong maintenance activities. S3 Minimise the number of different types of fasteners / Only those need to be held in stock.
One power button with standard power icon: M10 Use standard interfaces to enable quick connection.
Tubes pressure sensor: S9 Build monitoring equipment into the system.
